Taliban spokesman: We will not have relations with Israel

Expressing concern over the composition of the Taliban cabinet, in which women have no share and ministers are only members of the Taliban, the State Department stressed that the Afghan people deserve an "inclusive government" and that the United States will judge the Taliban based on its actions.

US President Joe Biden told reporters that Iran, China, Russia and Pakistan are working to reach an agreement with the Taliban on disputed issues. "All these countries are now trying to understand what the Taliban are doing," he added.
