Syrian Observatory for Human Rights quoted sources as saying that two Iranian ships carrying fuel for Lebanon arrived in the port of Banias on Monday and that cargo was now being unloaded to be transported to Lebanon through Hezbollah-controlled crossings.

Leaders of the BRICS countries, including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, issued a joint statement Thursday supporting the UN Security Council, stressing the need to "resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through peaceful and diplomatic means in accordance with international law."
