Germany, Britain and France, in a joint statement to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors, expressed concern over Iran's continued breach of nuclear commitments and the escalation of the situation, and called for an immediate halt to production of 20 percent enriched uranium.
"We strongly urge Iran to seize the diplomatic opportunity immediately to return to nuclear talks," Germany, Britain and France said in a joint statement. The three European countries also called on Iran to implement the recent agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency "without delay."

Khalo Mirza, the father of Ramin Hosseinpanahi, a political prisoner executed three years ago, has died. Amjad Hosseinpanahi wrote on his Twitter page: "The Islamic Republic is the cause of death of my father and all the parents who have been waiting for years for their children in front of prisons, in cemeteries, in intelligence offices and for years."

Babak Pakunia, the lawyer of Mehdi Mahmoudian, a civil activist who was arrested along with Arash Kaykhosravi and Mostafa Nili, told the news site Emtada that the three were imprisoned in solitary confinement. He described the detention of these lawyers and civil activists in solitary confinement as illegal and a form of torture.
